Article Title: Carr wins Summit Racing Equipment Nationals, Mullis Race Cars Sweep Tenn-Tuck Event!

Bradenton, FL: The past two weeks have seen several Mullis Race Cars customers experience paramount success at events throughout the country. Longtime Mullis Race Cars customer Shane Carr added to his lengthy list of accomplishments last weekend by earning the Super Comp “Wally” at the NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Norwalk, OH. There, Carr drove his Mullis Race Cars machine to a myriad of 8.90 runs en route to the inaugural event title.

Last weekend, Mullis customers converged on Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY for the Tenn-Tuck Triple Crown bracket series, a weekend consisting of three $10,000-to-win events. Mullis Race Cars drove to the winners circle on each day of the event, sweeping the big bucks bracket with drivers Kevin Burleson (Friday), Heath Davis (Saturday), and Jeff Strickland (Sunday) claiming victories. Burleson piloted his CBI backed machine to the Friday title over fellow Mullis customer John Masio. The win moved Burleson into the Tenn-Tuck Triple Crown points lead for 2007.

On Saturday, it was Davis driving the Thrasher Motorsports/Huntsville Engine Mullis 4-link machine that was formerly owned by Todd Ewing. Davis’ win came in his first weekend behind the wheel of the car! Sunday, new Mullis Race Cars customer Jeff Strickland earned the $10,000 victory behind the wheel of his SS Decals sponsored Mullis swing arm dragster.
