Bradenton, FL: Mullis Race Cars, the Florida-based chassis builder recently acquired by Tom Edmunds and Charlie Weser of Outlaw Motorsports enjoyed seeing three of their marquee customers enjoy paramount success in the big dollar bracket racing arena last weekend.

Todd “Bones” Ewing started off the weekend by claiming a $10,000 victory in his Huntsville Engine & Performance Mullis 4-link Dragster Friday night at the “Original Racers Appreciation Series” event at Montgomery Motorsports Park. Ewing cruised to the final round win on his opponents red-light, but ran a string of consistent 4.5 E.T.’s to take home the cash.

Three hundred miles away, and one day later, Shane Carr drove his Mullis 4-link dragster to a victory worth $7,500 at the Mega Bucks Open at Memphis Motorsports Park. Carr, who is backed by BTE and Jeg’s among other marketing partners, wheeled to the victory over a deep and talented field.

Troy Williams, Jr. capped off the weekend by driving his Mullis Race Cars team car to the $10,000 win in Montgomery on Sunday. The touring professional’s latest win in a long list of triumphs was aided by his Mullis Top Dragster Swing Arm machine, as the car moved under .01 throughout eliminations while running in the mid-4.60 range.
