Article Title: Congratulations Jeff Groat and Jimmy Jones from Mullis Race Cars

Bradenton, FL: Mullis Race Cars would like to congratulate car owner Jeff Groat and driver Jimmy Jones on their success at the IHRA President’s Cup Nationals at Maryland International Raceway last weekend. At the event, Groat and Jones debuted their new Mullis Race Cars Swing Arm Dragster. The machine is possibly the most immaculate car to ever come out the Mullis doors, featuring nearly every chrome and bolt-on option available.

The team’s weekend began with the Top Dragster entry earning the Best Appearing Car Award. Six rounds later, it ended in the winner’s circle as Jones defeated Aldan Miller in the final round. The entire Mullis Race Cars staff would like to congratulate Groat and Jones on a job well done!

Halfway across the country, the Mullis Race Cars team was on hand at the 12th annual Million Dollar Race. There, the company was proud to present a pair of new swing arm dragster chassis’ for the first annual Mullis Dash held Thursday. The big winners were Tony Brown and Brian Folk, as Brown defeated Folk in the final round. The last remaining Mullis race car in the Million Dollar main event was the team car of Troy Williams, Jr. Williams, a former winner of the Million Dollar Race, advanced to the semi-finals before losing a close battle to his younger brother Gary. Gary Williams went on to score the $345,000 victory and become the first repeat winner of the Million Dollar Race. Another longtime Mullis customer, Greg Brotherton, claimed the first title of the weekend when he won the Thursday $10,000 Gamblers Race (which was actually finished Friday morning). Brotherton drove his familiar Brodix Cylinder Heads sponsored Mullis 4-link Dragster to the victory.
